大家应该看到报纸上的“活取熊胆”事件了吧!在巨大的利益面前，人们是多么残忍啊!他们在黑熊的胆上开一个大口子，伸一个塑料管子到熊胆里，每天从熊胆里抽取胆汁。而可怜的黑熊，由于受到塑料管的阻碍，伤口永远不能愈合，时间一长，伤口四周都会腐烂发臭，黑熊就要忍受巨大的痛苦。等黑熊年纪大了，胆汁分泌得少了。人们就直接取出熊胆，甚至把熊掌也割下来，再高价卖给熊胆收购商，可怜的黑熊则会被扔到荒郊野外，人们再也不管它的死活。

还有的厂家为了生产出最肥美的鹅肝，就把鹅关在一个很小的铁笼子里，为了防止鹅过多运动，从而减少脂肪，所以那个笼子只能让鹅站着或者蹲着，连转个身都不行!有的鹅甚至一生都不能踏出笼子一步。

人们为了更好的满足自己的欲望，而全然不顾动物们的感受，为了得到珍贵的熊胆汁和美味的肥鹅肝，他们发明了一种种工具，自以为很了不起，实际上是在对动物进行着一种残酷的折磨。

同学们，你们能想象那黑熊被伤口的疼痛折腾得死去活来的样子吗?你们能想象白鹅被囚禁在小笼子里寸步难移的样子吗?你们能想象黑熊被割掉熊掌之后痛苦不堪的样子吗?你们能想象白鹅从出生到老死都不能走动一步的样子吗?

所以，我要呼吁大家都来保护动物，不让坏人虐待、伤害它们。让人类和动物和谐相处，成为好朋友吧!

生物学家指出，在自然状态下，物种灭绝的种数与新物种出现的种数基本上是平衡的。但是随着人口的增加和经济的发展，这种平衡已经受到破坏。据专家们估计，从恐龙灭绝以来，当前地球上生物多样性损失的速度比历史上任何时候都快，鸟类和哺乳动物现在的灭绝速度或许是它们在未受干扰的自然界中的100倍甚至1000倍。从1600年到1996年，世界上消失了164种鸟；从1871年到1970年，兽类灭绝了43种。地球上自有生命以来，共出现过25亿种动植物，其中有将近1／2是在最近3个世纪内消失的。

地球上的生物不可能单独生存，在一定环境条件下，它们是相互联系、共同生活的。为了保持地球生物的多样性，保护野生动物资源，各个国家都非常重视。1988年我国颁布了《野生动物保护法》。截止到8月，中国国家级自然保护区有303个，其中，在东营市，垦利区和河口区建立了黄河三角洲国家级自然保护区。我国在二十世纪五六十年代就制定了《环境法》，现在它已经迅速发展，趋于成熟。我们应该做些什么呢？我们是不是应该为它而做些什么吗？

这周五，5月22日，是个特殊的纪念日——"国际生物多样性日"，是一个以关爱万物、呵护生命为主题的纪念日。这个日子又一次提醒人们，在地球上，我们还有许许多多跟我们共同生活的小伙伴。从20__年起，国际生物多样性日由原来的每年12月19日改为5月22日。这个纪念日的确立，说明生物多样性问题已经凸显，并引起了全球的关注。

那么什么是生物多样性呢?

生物多样性包括生物种类的多样性、基因的多样性、生态系统的多样性。人类从生物多样性中得到了所需的全部食品、许多药物和工业原料，生物多样性对现代科技技术也同样不可或缺，如杂交技术、转基因技术等。

然而，在这个超负荷的地球上，生物的多样性，也早已面临危机。不少人对待这些共同生存在地球上的伙伴，不是友好相处、不是合理利用，而是拼命的攫取，以满足一己私利。在肯尼亚，居然有人觊觎全球最后一头雄性白犀牛，以至于需要40人昼夜实弹守护;在泰国，每年进行着上千桩野生动物的非法交易;在巴西!墨西哥!马达加斯加!由于人们的乱砍滥伐，蕴含着丰富生物的热带雨林，每年以一百万公顷甚至更快的速度在减少。这些行为导致目前全球生物物种正在以每小时一种的速度消失。物种一旦消失，就将永不再生!更严重的是，生态系统是一个统一的整体，牵一发而动全身，一个物种的消失还会通过食物链引起其他物种的消失。

或许大家会问：我们能够拯救生物圈吗?我们能够拯救生物圈中那些我们珍视的物种以及其它成千上万的物种吗?其实这个问题的答案就在于：我们在向自然界伸手同时，也有责任保护好它，保护好生物的多样性!

保护生物多样性刻不容缓，有关部门从迁地保护、就地保护、建立基因库、构建相关法律体系等方面着手，然而，作为在校就读的同学们该怎么做呢?

首先，爱护动植物。城市扩建速度越来越快，直接导致野生树林的消失，使得安家于其中的动物失去家园。我们校园钟楼旁边就有一块野生林，是学校从挖掘机下解救过来的树种移栽于此形成的，是校园最原生态视角。同学们接触自然，感受自然之美时，也不要忘了感恩，感恩万千生灵装点我们的世界，感恩他们的陪伴。我们不管在哪里一定要做到：不践踏草皮，不攀爬树木，不采摘花朵，拒绝食用野生动物。

其次，爱护我们赖以生存的环境。美好的环境是人类和所有生物生存的基础。她就像慈爱的母亲一样，只有慈爱的母亲才能养育健康的孩子。如果没有了健康的环境，那么森林将不会那么茂密，鸟儿将不再歌唱……

最后，崇尚节俭，杜绝浪费。一棵20岁的树可造3000张a4纸，假如每个人一天浪费一张纸，一年下来就浪费了0、1棵树，全世界一年就浪费了近8亿棵树。一张纸是这样，一支笔，一把尺子，一个面包，一碗米饭……都是这样，只要我们注意节约，远离浪费，那么，我们地球一定会更有活力。
